Ah, it feels good to be back to my old blogging self. I missed dressing up for the sake of taking pictures. LOL.

You know what I've really been into lately? Work friendly outfits.

Not that I miss my 9 to 5 or anything, but a crisp button up and a great trouser are really a match made in office wardrobe heaven. I think it can be a bit of a challenge dressing for the office (or if you have an interview for a job!). You want to keep it appropriate yet inject elements of your personal style. What I always found myself doing is going for the basics - blazers, button-ups, trousers - in unbasic colors. People tend to keep it neutral for the office - black, white, gray, khaki (these colors can be a bit stark) - but there's no harm in bringing some color into the mix. While you might not want rock neon hues, pastels like my pink button up are work friendly yet feminine and navy blue slacks instead of the predictable black or gray make a look interesting. And what is it about a white blazer that's just so damn irresistible?! Even in the colder months, I love to wear it. And if nothing else, have fun with your accessories. A (J.Crew) statement necklace has never steered me wrong, not even at work, and a fabulous bag can take a look from good to great.

Dressing for work can sometimes feel like a chore, especially after you've run out of all your cute options, but hopefully I've inspired a little pep in your step to get back to it.
