I really love grabbing a shirt from Hubs' side of the closet and making it work for my outfit. I've done it several times. Like here. And here. He always has a snarky remark about it, but I bought this shirt for him as a gift so...

2014 has easily been the most transitional year for my marriage. I'm far from being a relationship expert, but I realized that if you can make 5 years in marriage, you're probably in it to win it. While we are both creative people, we're very different in thought and execution. It's our values and character that make us compatible. Also, becoming parents changes your relationship very much. It's up to you whether it's for better or worse. Although, we've only been parents for 3 months, I would say it's certainly been for the better.

As I reflect on how I've grown as a wife in 2014, I'm eager to take the lessons I've learned this past year into the new year to be a better partner. I'll start by wearing less of his shirts. Or at least asking before I do :)
