I love it when I grab a bunch of pieces from my closet and a look just comes together. As I'm getting older, I'm realizing that the better, more classic pieces you have in your closet, the tendency of that happening is higher. I can't lie this look is a jambalaya of my closet. This trench I scored from H&M has yet to do me wrong in any outfit. I just got this denim shirt dress from Forever 21. I honestly feel like a denim shirt (or shirtdress for that matter) is classic and can be worn with almost anything whether it's worn under a blazer, with a printed pencil skirt or paired with you favorite jeans to create the essential Canadian tuxedo.

A statement necklace (and you guys know I adore this one Hubs got me from J.Crew) always takes a look from good to great. And if you love shoes, then having a great pair of t-strap heels will tickle your fancy. I've gotten a good run out this pair from ZARA. And let's face it, black opaque tights are necessary for the fall/winter months. They go with everything from knee boots, girly flats to suede pumps. Also, I'll be the first one to tell you that Ray Ban aviators are the greatest sunglasses on earth. Because it's true.

Most of the items I'm wearing I've had for sometime now, but that's the thing about good pieces - you can always make them work.
