I was so excited when it was time to take maternity photos. Being pregnant has been such an amazing experience and we can't wait to meet #Babyologie, so photographing my bump and getting to take photos with Hubs and working with my favorite photographer, I knew we'd have a good time. If you follow me on Instagram, you know I've already posted a sneak peek a couple of weeks ago.

I will say that I wanted to avoid the expected overwhelming cheesiness of a pregnancy shoot. (There's still a little.) I really just wanted to capture me and Hubs enjoying each other's company throughout the city on a beautiful day and I think Porsha nailed that. (I will admit early on that I wanted to take the obligatory nude pregnancy photo, but Hubs wasn't down with it. Looking back, I think going this way was the better choice for me.)

The dress is actually from ZARA's semi annual sale they had about a month or so ago. Even though we're having a girl, I've surprisingly been avoiding pink. (Her nursery is mint.) Hubs is also wearing ZARA (his top) and Calvin Klein jeans.

The photos above are just SOME of our favorites. Looking forward to blowing these up, framing them and putting them in the house. A huge thanks again to Porsha for capturing one the most important moments in our life.
