the-nutcracker-2A couple of weeks before Christmas, I got the chance to take my nieces DeAnna and Brooklynn to see the Nutcracker by Atlanta Ballet at the Fox Theatre. After some thought with Hubs, we decided to give our nieces and nephews experiences for Christmas versus things. When Atlanta Ballet offered tickets to the Nutcracker, I knew this would be perfect for the girls.

(It was actually foam, but it was a blast watching them trying to catch them.) The girls were so fascinated and their little faces were priceless.

the-nutcracker-1 As someone who studied dance for over 10 years, I have such a soft spot for the ballet. I've been lucky enough to see the Atlanta Ballet's Nutcracker once before and it is always spectacular. Whether it's a date night or night out with the family, it's always a lovely experience.

Be sure to catch the Atlanta Ballet Nutcracker next year in December at the FOX Theatre if you're in Atlanta for the holidays. You will not regret it. If you live here or will be around next month, the Atlanta Ballet's next production is Romeo and Juliet which looks spectacular. It will be at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre February 6-14.
