When you get older, you'll come to realize how time flies. Because it honestly feels like yesterday we were bringing you home from the hospital for the very first time. Now, here you are, laughing at your favorite TV Show - this month it's Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood - and very vocal when you like or are excited about something.
You've been uttering "Mama" which makes me feel like the most important person in the world while you call Daddy, "Baba." Your relationship with your great grandmother is enviable, you guys are always laughing and playing together. While I hope you remember her, I can't wait to tell you about how awesome and loving she is.
This past month you stood on your own twice, which is mind blowing. But my favorite thing about you this month is that you've started waving "hi" and "bye" which is so stinking cute. You're so smart and even a bit stubborn - when you grab something you want, your grasp is freakishly strong - but I love that tenacity in you. Your hair is growing like wildfire and your eyes are still gray but slowing transitioning to hazel. You still look at every person with such intent straight in their eyes. Don't lose that. Looking people in the eye is an honorable characteristic that not everyone has.
I love you, Pookah. Proud of the little person you're becoming.
