Last week, I decided to go with a new 'do: a short, wavy bob. And I must say - you know, since we're all friends here - this really works for me. I'm really into it. Not just for the sake of looking good, but also, grown. I've always had a younger looking face, so the right - or wrong - hair look enhanced that. Either making me look 12 or younger than my actual 31. But I'm loving this bob right now because I feel like I look like a woman versus a girl. I also feel like I look like me. I can't even tell you how many times in my life I've gone for a certain look because a certain celebrity rocked it first or because I saw a friend or family member do it and pulled it off. I feel comfortable in my own skin. And that's a good feeling.
In case you're wondering, it's a crochet wig I made. I used 3 packs of Freetress Bulk Gogo Curl (in the color 2 + cut the packs in half) and then cut to my liking. I've taken a few orders via Instagram so I thought I'd share with you all here as well. If you're interested in a wig, email me and I'll spill the tea on pricing, color, texture & more.
Leopard print is pretty much a neutral, no? And MAC's "Dangerous" (similar) is my favorite red orange lipstick that pops perfectly against the leopard print. I've had these Madewell flare jeans for a couple of years now and they always serve me well in the spring and summer. Today, being no exception.
