Mattieologie: Things To Do // July 2015 I can't believe that we're in full blown summer. This is the first month I've started working for myself 100% and it's changed the climate of my goals quite a bit. As you've noticed, there's been a lot more *intentional* content on the site and that will continue with a couple more additions throughout this month to take the blog where I would like it so it's most valuable, useful + fun to you guys as you read. I will make a layout change sometime in the fall, but the content is most important right now. Here's what I have to do this month.

INTEGRATE LIFESTYLE + VIDEO CONTENT SEAMLESSLY

So far, we've focused on outfit posts, blogging/business & #AskMattie podcasts for the last couple of weeks. Those will continue, but we'll also add lifestyle and video content. I'm excited because lots of planning has been going on to make sure the content coming your way is awesome.

GET 100 ASK MATTIE SUBSCRIBERS

Now that #AskMattie is on iTunes my goal is to get 100 subscribers.

ADD EBOOKS + PRODUCTIVITY TOOLS TO THE BLOG

I've been working on "Mattie Manuals" aka eBooks and eGuides on blogging, productivity and entrepreneurship. You guys have had many in depth questions on these topics so I've created some helpful literature to answer those questions.

FREELANCE CONSISTENTLY (WEEKLY BASIS)

Since, I've been blogging full time I have dropped the ball on freelancing. The blog has kind of been my universe, but I'd like to write a few articles for my freelance gig for the extra income. Nothing too crazy, but extra income? Always a good idea.

CLEAN OUT CLOSET + DONATE CLOTHES

If you follow me on Snapchat, you know that my closet is outofcontrol.com/reallythough. It's mostly because I have way too many clothes in there that I don't wear. Either they're too small, too big or I don't like them. So, if I don't wear it, there's no place for it. But it can certainly be a blessing to someone else.

YARD SALE

After working full time from home for a month, I've noticed that there's more than a handful of things we don't need. So, I'll sell it. Organizing a yard sale is quite the task, so I'm going to take the bulk of the month to plan and organize. I'd love to have a sale during the last week of July to get things out sooner, but would certainly rather be prepared and have it in August if need be.

GO TO DANCE CLASS

My best friend got me a 10 class package for my birthday, so I'll definitely be taking advantage of that this month to stay active.

HIRE INTERNS

I've been going back and forth on this one, but with the amount of content I'm producing, I could certainly use an extra pair of hands to help. First and foremost, I need a graphics and content intern. The internship is paid. If you're interested email my Chief Operations Officer, Krissy at [email protected] with the subject title "Mattieologie Intern" with your resume + cover letter on what makes you a great team player. Experience is fine and dandy, but I'd rather train someone who is polite, professional, who doesn't cut corners and a joy to work with.

BACK TO VEGAN DIET

After going back to an everyday diet for two months, I've realized that my body does much better when I'm on a plant based diet. Honestly, I'll be doing an 80/20 diet. 80% planet based, 20% meat/fish protein (mostly fish) to ensure I get B-12 (a vitamin that vegans lack due to no meat or fish.) I'll be sharing what I eat on social media and sporadically here on the blog. I may even just do a round up at the end of the month sharing my favorite meals if you all are interested.
