I'm notorious for not eating breakfast in the morning. I try my best to meal plan and eat it so I can have a solid start, but I mentally can eat very heavy when I first wake up. Toast is the perfect light alternative.
Aside from oatmeal with fruit - toast is my favorite quick breakfast option. There's so many different things you can do with it so it doesn't get boring.

Here are my 3 favorite ways to eat toast in the am:
1. Maple almond butter + bananas: If you've never had Justin's Maple Almond Butter, you're missing out on life. It's so delicious on toast and if bananas + peanut butter was your jam, this is going to be a new morning favorite for you.
2. Vegan cream cheese + sliced strawberries: While I'm not on a huge vegan kick currently, I really enjoy vegan cream cheese. (It's the only vegan dairy replacement I endorse.) It's a smidge saltier than real cream cheese which makes the sweetness of the strawberries pop.
3. Avocado with red pepper flakes + salt & pepper: I really like avocado, so putting it on toast was a natural option. To kick up the flavor, I like to sprinkle some red pepper flakes with salt & pepper. Because it's morning, I don't go too heavy on the seasoning plus a little goes a long way.
