One of my favorite things about summer is that everyone (and everything) is way more relaxed. Usually that's the case with dress codes. During the week, dress codes go from business casual to summer casual, meaning denim is a lot more acceptable. Boyfriend jeans are work friendly as they aren't skintight, but they still flatter your shape. For leisure, I tend to pair boyfriend jeans with something form fitting. However, for work, I'd opt for something buttoned up but with flair, to keep things office appropriate.

Case in point, this asymmetrical button-up from ZARA. With a long front and short back, it adds personality to the look while keeping the outfit appropriate. It's a play on the classic white button-up without being boring. If you're blessed enough to get away with a statement necklace like the one I'm wearing here, by all means, flourish. If not, you can opt for a more delicate piece of jewelry to follow your dress code.

If the jeans are still a little bit too relaxed for your work situation, I still think this shirt would slay with tapered pants. Something in print or color. After all, the summer's right around the corner.
