There's honestly nothing like being your own company.
I have to admit. I love being around people. There's nothing like having a good time, laughing, dancing, socializing and being with people. But every now and again, I like to lay low, enjoy my own company or the company of one of my best friends. In this case, the now and again was Saturday afternoon, and the company was my dear friend, Dom. (<-----who's an amazing makeup artist by the way)
First, we headed to R. Thomas for their fantastic French toast that i would fight my Mom for. (And I would win, might I add.) It's just so good. It was the weekend, so I decided to wear those oh so comfortable boyfriend jeans from Target - yes, again - and keep it makeup free.
Then we headed to one of my favorite stores in the city - Sam Flax. For those of you who don't know, Sam Flax is an art store that has everything from frames, paint, candles and cards. One of my favorite things to do is look at the cards and pretty stationery. I can never get tired of pretty paper. It's like impossible.
So, while this may have seemed like a low key day to you, it was quite entertaining. Refreshing to be honest. Sometimes when you stop and slow down you realize the things that you love to do instead of just the things you're good at. Slowing down is a challenge for me, but I think it was for the best. At least in this case.
This month's theme for the Fiesta Movement is entertainment. And for me, eating, art and spending time with friends is entertaining. So I wanna know, what do you like to do for entertainment? Or better yet, when's the last time you did something entertaining?
