I'm so happy that it's actually 78 degrees today. It FINALLY feels like spring is not only here, but here to stay.
Not only is it a new season geographically, but certainly in my life. It's finally donned on me that I'm like real life pregnant. Like, 16 weeks pregnant. There's only 24 weeks or so to go. And in case my growing belly isn't a reminder, my need for a nap once a day and insane monster appetite doesn't let me forget. All I do is research strollers, research nursery decor inspiration, blah, blah, blah.
I'm just getting used to this new body, balancing everything out especially before baby gets here. I learned the secret to balance: there honestly is none. You just have to prioritize your day and give yourself credit. You'll fail at one thing at least once a day. Not because you suck. Because you're human. Mattie six months ago would not accept that truth. Today, not only do I know it, I accept that truth.
Anyway, I'm excited for the new season. It's teaching me new lessons and bringing me new joys. And how can you not get excited about that?
