It's sort of hard to believe that there's only 2 more months left in the year. I could've sworn it was summer yesterday. (Mostly because of Atlanta's fickle weather, but I digress.) Now that I'm getting back into my regular everyday schedule - with a few revisions, thanks to #Babyologie - I want to make sure I end the year with a bang. 2015 is going to be amazing, but I don't want to shortchange 2014 because I'm anticipating next year.
Starting today, I'm back to blogging (yay!) and freelancing for the sites I write for. I (sorta) gave myself September & October off since I had a baby. I wanted to relax - which is hard for my type A personality - but now I'm back in full effect.
I breastfeed #Babyologie so my mission is to successfully transition her to a bottle (with pumped breast milk) within the month. I'm an overachiever so I'm hoping it only takes a week.
Surprisingly, while I took the last couple of months off, I've been approached by a brand to host an event. Still finalizing details but can't wait to share!
In case you haven't noticed, I've given the blog its inevitable "face lift". Stepping away from it for a few weeks made me realize the changes I wanted to make so content and purpose was cohesive. I'm about 50% done. But for now check out the new sidebar and About page.
I have my 6 week postpartum doctor's appointment this week. Looking forward to him giving me the okay to get back in the gym.
Uh? Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Must figure out what we're doing. We'll be home because #Babyologie is still so young but need to see what family and friends will be in town to spend it with. Can taste the turkey, stuffing and mac & cheese as I type...
We haven't really gone anywhere, but since I'll be returning to the 9 to 5 next month, I suppose it's only right I buy a stroller. (Her carseat has been doing us just fine.)
And yes, Hubs, we're taking Christmas photos and sending them to everyone.
