I've shared recently that I've been pumping out a lot of content. Like, A LOT. I love it, but when I'm not careful I get on the edge of burnt out. Because I read a lot of content and listen to podcasts more for research than leisure these days, I had to figure out a way to get out my creative energy.
And so, I turned to painting.
I can't explain it, but it was so therapeutic. This was the end result of me painting for the sole purpose of getting out energy. I've painted before with the intentional of decorating or gifting something, but this was different. I just needed to do something that left me used my creative juices purely for leisure.
Don't get me wrong. I still love blogging and speaking. But because it's now become more "work" than play, I needed something that gave me child like excitement and this did just the thing.
