DIY Brown Sugar Scrub

Excited to share one of my favorite DIY beauty recipes with you guys today. Whenever my skin gets really dry or I want to make my legs extra smooth after shaving them, I turn to my DIY brown sugar scrub. It exfoliates dead skin while leaving your skin oh so moisturized.

After washing up in the shower, I use the scrub on the areas that are especially dry - in the winter, typically my knees and elbows. In the summer, I like to use this all over. I love using this on my lips (with coconut oil) as well. Makes an EXCELLENT lip scrub. Because of the oil, I don't even have to lotion or moisturize afterwards. I just pat dry and my skin soaks up all that oil.

You can use this on your face as well. Typically, I'm drier in the cold weather months so I will use it monthly. I use it the day after I shave my legs to make the shave last longer and make my legs ULTRA smooth.

1 cup dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons of olive or coconut oil
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice (only if there's any left over to keep fresh)
*double amounts to create enough for a full body scrub
